On to the next Dr

We have had no luck finding out what is causing Tate's fever, so we're heading on to the next Dr. Infectious Disease Specialist up at All Children's Hospital in St. Pete. They're also trying to get us in with the Immunology Dr up there.

I'm scared and nervous and hopeful all at the same time. I just KNOW it's nothing but a summer virus that he can't kick. I just keep telling myself that. But I'm still scared. WHY can't he beat whatever it is?

It's scary when your Pediatrician says, "Well, we've ruled out leukemia, so that's good." Well, yes, that is good, but scary that they're even testing for it! My Pediatrician said he's never seen this before. Fever off and on for so long, in a baby so young. In a 9 or 10 year old, yes, but not a 10 month old.

So, that's the update. We're hoping and praying for good news. Our appt is Monday afternoon at 3:30, so I will keep everyone posted.
